Surveyor Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surveyor Trainee to join our team at DNV. As a Surveyor Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of marine structures, such as ships and platforms.

• Perform surveys on vessels and platforms to verify their condition, quality, and safety
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate surveying activities to ensure timely and accurate results
• Prepare and submit technically accurate reports of inspections and surveys
• Engage with clients to resolve problems and provide expert advice
• Travel extensively to conduct surveys and inspections

• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in a field such as Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Technology
• Experience in the maritime industry or merchant navy is beneficial
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Trustworthy and responsible, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
