Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Wheel, a pioneering robotics company in Oslo, Norway. As an IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our IT systems and aligning our technology solutions with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure across sites.
  • Manage our IT budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT strategies and policies supporting our company objectives, including IT security and data protection.
  • Sources, licenses, and manages software, as well as on- and off-boards IT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Coordinate IT projects from inception to completion, including system implementations and upgrades.
  • Act as a super user of key IT systems and a contact point for key solution providers.
  • Provide effective support and troubleshooting for all employees.

Qualifications

  • A minimum bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in IT management or a similar role.
  • Experience in project management and IT system implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of network administration, server, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of relevant key technologies such as machine learning/AI, agile methods, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security, operational security practices, and data protection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • English fluent level with the capability of understanding and communicating complex topics.
