We are seeking a highly skilled Global Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at TN Norway in Oslo, Norway.

About the Job:

This role involves driving the technical implementation of safety concepts in semiconductor components. The successful candidate will work closely with the mixed signal design team to develop and implement safety mechanisms into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Specification of functional safety requirements and performing analysis using tools such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and DFA.
  2. Ownership of the technical safety concept and driving the implementation of safety mechanisms into our products.
  3. Driving the use of new and existing functional safety tools for fault injection and safety analysis.
  4. Developing and maintaining automated safety verification flows.
  5. Ensuring compliance with corporate functional safety processes and methodologies.
  6. Collaboration with design teams across the globe.
  7. Generating documentation of results and driving continuous improvements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience in functional safety in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with ISO 26262 and functional safety analysis.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent team player, self-driven, quality-minded with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of English as a working language.
