HSSEQ Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSEQ Manager to join our team at SLB and Aker Carbon Capture Joint Venture. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in helping the industry meet its carbon capture obligations.

• Support HSSEQ Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain effective HSSEQ procedures and protocols.
• Establish HSSE Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive HSSE programs, including quality management systems, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor legislative developments and industry initiatives, and develop strategies to address identified gaps and ensure compliance.
• Lead Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, and lead the investigation and resolution of accidents and incidents.
• Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain an efficient Project Quality Management System, ensuring compatibility with legal, standards, and client requirements.
• Supplier Quality Assurance: Manage supplier quality assurance, including inspection and testing, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Audit and Compliance: Develop and manage the overall project audit program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Education: Higher education (college/university) in a relevant field, with relevant work experience may supersede educational requirements.
• HSSE Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of HSSE and Quality standards, such as ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001.
• Project Management: Solid understanding of project management, including risk management.
• Experience: More than 5+ years of relevant experience from industrial projects or other relevant areas, with experience from construction, process, or heavy industry preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
