Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior R&D Engineer to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a key member of our Research and Development (R&D) department, you will play a critical role in driving long-term research & development for emerging display technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting advanced research to explore new technologies and methodologies.
• Developing prototypes and proof-of-concept models to demonstrate feasibility.
• Providing technical insights and recommendations for technology adoption.
• Planning and taking lead on R&D projects.
• Collaborating with team members to design, develop, and test new products and technologies.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on display technologies.
• Helping the growth of team members around you through coaching and mentoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience and competency within electrical engineering, preferably display, optical, touch, or sensor technologies.
• Previously taken lead and participated in R&D projects from planning to completion.
• Experience with systems engineering and the ability to work in the technical details, whilst maintaining an outlook for the broader picture.
• Experience being the subject matter expert, or have had a similar role within your domain.
• Experience being responsible for both technical choices and the qualification of technologies.
