About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our Global Projects & Accounts (GPA) team as a Global Fire and Gas Detection Proposal Specialist. You will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to Global Account Managers, producing proposals for fire and gas detection systems worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review detailed RFQ and enquiry documentation.
  • Prepare and write technical and commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries.
  • Develop designs and technical specifications for engineered fire and gas systems that meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external support teams to provide inputs into proposals.
  • Liaise with the sales team, commercial, and legal contracts staff throughout the proposal process to ensure coherence and risk understanding.
  • Assist Account Managers and customers with technical queries.
  • Process proposals requests, working closely with Account Managers.
  • Contribute to developing and exercising processes for more effective proposals.
  • Participate in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCM) as needed and follow up on clarifications with customers and Account Managers.
  • Maintain and update activities related to proposals using Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Provide documentation to customers for non-related projects POs.
  • Support handover from Sales to Project upon receiving a PO.
  • Offer pre-sales support to customers and sales teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical certification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in similar roles.
  • Experience designing technical specifications and creating technical proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience with global EPC bidding processes is beneficial.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with customers worldwide.
  • A forward-thinking approach with the ability to identify opportunities and propose solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A disposition to learn and enthusiasm.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Ability to prioritize work and use initiative for task completion.
  • Experience with Autronica and Det-Tronics products and system integration practices or related industry.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to follow up on issues and progress to meet leadership expectations.
  • Experience working cooperatively and respectfully on multicultural/cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel, including on short notice.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and perks.
