HSS Advisor

Statkraft is seeking a highly skilled HSS Advisor to join our European Wind and Solar team in the UK. As an HSS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, and the public.

• Provide HSS advice and guidance to project managers and teams on all aspects of HSS, from early development to operations handover.
• Coach, manage, and follow-up local HSS resources designated for each project.
• Liaise with contractors' HSS staff in construction projects.
• Contribute to establishing a good HSS culture in projects, including project kick-offs.
• Participate in relevant activities in all phases of project development and acquisitions.
• Carry out HSS reviews, inspections, and audits across the business area's activities.
• Lead or participate in investigations of serious incidents.
• Assure, investigate, and provide support for HSS activities to projects elsewhere in our portfolio.
• Implement efficient HSS work processes in our projects in the UK, in accordance with Statkraft governance, and cooperate with UK HSS.
• Liaise with authorities and government bodies, including participation in safety forums and technical committees on behalf of Statkraft.

• University degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience within HSS in an industrial work environment.
• IOSH & NEBOSH trained.
• Knowledge of ISO:45001.
• Practical experience from execution of large construction projects, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
• Detailed knowledge of UK HSS legislation and CDM Regulations 2015.
• Result-oriented, structured, and flexible with ability to create good work relations.
• A team player, who can work independently and drive HSS improvement work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
