Senior Lawyer Vacancy

About the Job

As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities and tasks, providing day-to-day legal advice to the business. You will also be part of larger projects and product development processes.

The legal team is involved in questions concerning third-party arrangements, including outsourcing, DORA, GDPR, PSD2/3/PSR, consumer protection, consumer credits, insurance, marketing regulation, and corporate and commercial law.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to the business on commercial law matters;
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including commercial supplier- and partner contracts;
• Support the development of new products and services;
• Work closely with other departments, such as Risk Management and Compliance;

Requirements

• Masters degree in Law from a Nordic university;
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably in a bank or similar organization;
• Excellent spoken and written skills in one Scandinavian language and English;
• Positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to build relationships within the organization;
