Job Description:
The Project Purchasing Team Lead is a critical role that supports the overall strategy and operations of Nexans USA Inc. This position will be responsible for leading a team of purchasing professionals to ensure effective and efficient execution of purchasing activities.

Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a purchasing strategy aligned with Nexans' business objectives.
• Manage a team of purchasing professionals to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and inventory records.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or category management, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of purchasing professionals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient in ERP systems, such as SAP.
