At Oslo University Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated specialist to join our team as a Senior Consultant combined with Professor II/Associate Professor II in Transplantation Medicine.

The Department of Transplantation Medicine is responsible for the national services for abdominal organ transplantation. We are looking for an individual who can contribute to the ordinary clinical work at the department, with main responsibility related to the patient ward and the daycare unit.

The successful candidate will participate in the work-up and care of patients with liver-related disorders, including those requiring liver transplantation. They will also be involved in the training of clinical fellows, run courses, and participate in quality improvement routines, focusing on liver transplantation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the patient groups seen at the department and possess a Norwegian specialist accreditation in gastroenterology. They must also have documented collaborative skills, working efficiently and conscientiously, and empathic communication skills in communication with patients and their families.
