This role is integral to the Experience Services Platform, focusing on the management of food service initiatives within a designated real estate portfolio. The Culinary Services Supervisor will oversee all facets of the food service program, including micro markets, conference centers, hospitality, catering, office beverage services, and vending operations. This position demands a commitment to delivering exceptional service that not only meets but exceeds client expectations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage food service operations at assigned locations, including oversight of third-party service providers.
- Serve as the primary contact for all food service-related inquiries.
- Develop and maintain a robust food service management program, ensuring adequate staffing aligned with client operational schedules.
- Coordinate catering and hospitality services for client events within designated workplaces.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations concerning food transport, handling, preparation, and service.
- Collaborate with vendors to design and implement a comprehensive culinary nutrition and wellness program, including awareness events and educational demonstrations.
- Monitor and manage financial aspects of food service programs, providing strategic recommendations to align with budgetary goals.
- Anticipate and address client needs and concerns, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Act as the point of contact for client escalations regarding service-related issues.
- Establish procedures and audits to identify and escalate potential risks and issues.
- Proactively identify and address risks and issues, including audit findings and client feedback.
- Foster strong client relationships to ensure service levels are consistently met.
- Adhere to all client contract requirements and strive to exceed Key Performance Indicators.
- Exhibit ownership attributes that promote high-quality customer service at all interaction points.
- Ensure operational requirements are fulfilled according to client specifications.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and performance metrics to enhance work efficiency and system reliability.
- Drive client-specific initiatives, including technology rollouts and best practice benchmarking.
- Ensure financial processes and controls are strictly followed to maintain sound financial management.
- Comply with JLL and client policies regarding health, safety, environment, and risk management.
- Demonstrate the ability to scale food service operations on a global, regional, and local level.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of five to ten years of progressive experience in food service or hospitality management.
- Proficient communication skills in both French and English.
- Ability to engage with clients at all organizational levels.
- Strong vendor management and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on contract management, customer service, and team development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership qualities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
