Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join our Engineering team at Vår Energi. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the long-term integrity of our wells, from drilling to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement well integrity strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute well construction, intervention, and production operations.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure well integrity remains a top priority throughout the well life cycle.
  • Identify and implement proactive improvement initiatives to enhance well integrity and safety performance.
  • Represent Vår Energi in well integrity-related matters with partners, authorities, and industry collaborations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in well construction, intervention, and/or production operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements regarding well barrier integrity, plugging, and abandonment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
