The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting Team Lead to oversee and guide one of our Customer Success teams. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in finance and client interactions to ensure seamless delivery of financial reporting services, foster client satisfaction, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:- Lead, mentor, and develop the Financial Reporting customer success team to achieve high performance.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that emphasizes professional growth and client satisfaction.
- Structure the team, deliveries, and coaching/education methods with great freedom to help clients succeed.
- Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Oversee the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting services to clients and partners, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other local GAAPs.
- Monitor team performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain best practices for financial reporting and equity compensation management.
- Lead financial reporting education across the customer success organization.
- Work closely with product managers and sales representatives on commercial processes as a domain expert in financial reporting.
- Develop and nurture existing and new partnerships relevant to the financial reporting services.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Product, Sales, and Support, to align on goals and improve the customer experience.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Experience in audit, internal controller roles, accounting, or similar. Well-versed in IFRS 2 and similar accounting standards are a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in finance or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, IAS, other GAAPs, and equity compensation management.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in tools like Excel.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
