About The Role

As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will work as a part of HR & Payroll Team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your goal will be to support the Team Leader to ensure that the team is able to deliver the best possible service to our clients in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse customer specific demands and translate them into customer specific solutions
  • Maximize customer satisfaction by providing effective client support
  • Prepare and maintain payroll computation for multiple clients and ensure high standard of compliance and accuracy
  • Prepare deliverables and ensure high standard of compliance and accuracy to assigned clients according to client's Service Level Agreement
  • Ensure collection of payroll processing documents and other input accounting and tax information in due time
  • Check the input payroll input data documents for compliance with the local regulations and the contracts.
  • Proceed filing of the documents in accordance with the established filing system and maintain client's files complete and in a good order
  • Provide support to other team members as-and-when needed in ensuring service excellence and on-time delivery to clients
  • Meet established deadlines for each client
  • Perform field work if required, collect, and prepare the file necessary for obtaining documents required by ACCA Careers or client
  • Maintain good client relationship and attend to clients' requests and queries professionally
  • Liaise with external parties like auditors, bankers and relevant authorities.
  • In addition to standard payroll administration service also offer HR support services in a wide range of areas, including:
  • Handling employee queries and facilitating in meetings between client and employees.
  • Assistance with hiring and termination and preparation of the documents required thereof
  • Other ad hoc HR-related services
  • Submit Payroll Checklist to the other Payroll Specialist for 4 eyes principles and Team Leader/Head of HR & Payroll for review and approval
Key Requirements
  • You have experience in payroll processing and would like to take your career further by pursuing a role in a global environment.
  • A candidate with 5-6 years relevant work experience is preferred
  • Experience in a similar role or business with good client servicing skills will be preferred.
  • Resourceful individual with strong technical knowledge/ or interest in finding new ways of thinking to serve our clients
  • Independent with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicates effectively through written or verbal communication both in Norwegian and English.
  • Strong ability to plan and organise workload
  • Reliable and responsible and focuses on team goals.
