Aretè & Cocchi Technology is a global provider of advanced technological and engineering solutions for the design, construction and operation of complex, safe and sustainable infrastructures.

We are looking for a talented Remote ROV Pilot to join our team at our Onshore Remote-Control Centre in Stavanger. In this role, you will be responsible for operating an offshore Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and an Underwater Intervention Drone (UID) from the Onshore Remote-Control Centre.

Job Summary:

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with cutting-edge technology and have a strong passion for ocean robotics. As a Remote ROV Pilot, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our offshore operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate an offshore Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and an Underwater Intervention Drone (UID) from the Onshore Remote-Control Centre.
  • Support and assist offshore crew in a one-team philosophy.
  • Perform operational documentation, deck checks and fault finding.
Requirements:
  • Technical College Graduate and/or with technical background in Electronics/Electrical or Telecommunications/IT.
  • Excellent Computer/ICT skills, Networking and general communications.
  • Interests for working with ocean robotics.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial equipment/software and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
  • Experience/understanding of Offshore Subsea Operations.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, written and spoken.
