Tubular Running Services Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - TRS to join our Tubular Running Services team in Stavanger. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Expro's Well Construction (TRS) equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure equipment settings, perform function testing, and assess suitability according to company and manufacturer procedures.
- Initiate equipment maintenance processes as required by company standards and local legislation, ensuring timely completion within deadlines.
- Identify equipment issues, inspect parts for defects, record repairs and maintenance, and adhere to company standards.
- Study engineering diagrams and schematics, determine pneumatic and hydraulic routing, and procure required parts to perform repairs.
- Mobilize offshore to perform field repairs and support offshore field crews as needed.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies to ensure the highest ethical standards and minimize exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation.
- Actively comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, promoting HSE awareness and taking responsibility for own safety and others' safety.
- Meet objectives set under the Employee Development Plan.
Requirements
- Mechanical qualification and 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of industry tubular running equipment, including setup, usage, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Strong teamwork ethic.
- Understanding and ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions to problems.
- Proficient in MS365 Packages.
