Job Summary
As a Welder Specialist at TechnipFMC, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of welding operations. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a team of welders and oversee the entire welding process.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate complex welding equipment and tools to produce high-quality welds
• Plan and coordinate welding operations to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Monitor and control welding processes to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
• Conduct quality control checks to identify and address any defects or issues
• Train and mentor junior welders to develop their skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, metallurgy)
• 2-3 years of experience in welding operations or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of welding processes and equipment
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
