Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist II to advise project managers on contract strategy, ensuring that all aspects of the contract during the execution phase are addressed effectively. Your role will involve:

  • Participating in commercial strategic discussions and decisions to identify, evaluate, and mitigate contracts risks.
  • Providing accurate summaries of contract-related matters, including contract synopsis, review, obligations matrix, and guidance on requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing relevant contractual correspondence exchanged with clients, partners, subcontractors, and authorities.
  • Monitoring project deliverables, identifying risks and opportunities, and taking overall responsibility for contractual and commercial issues related to management of change.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a pertinent discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with contracts.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Subsea contracts (preferred) and oil & gas industry experience required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide open and direct dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary Range
This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
