As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting oil and gas process and utility system designs and simulations, preparing process drawings, and undertaking process equipment evaluation and sizing.
Key Responsibilities- Process Design and Simulation: Conduct oil and gas process and utility system designs and simulations to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Process Drawing Preparation: Prepare process drawings, including PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs, to facilitate project execution.
- Process Equipment Evaluation: Undertake process equipment evaluation and sizing to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Process Deliverables: Develop process deliverables, including process datasheets, line sizing and line lists, calculations reports, process design philosophy, and systems documentation.
- Process Safety Analysis: Prepare process safety analysis reports and provide input to start-up and commissioning procedures.
- Project Reviews: Participate in project reviews, including process design reviews, HAZOPs, and other safety reviews.
- Document Review: Perform inter-discipline and discipline checks of documents produced by the project organization.
- Equipment Requisitioning: Support mechanical and instrument disciplines during equipment requisitioning and follow up vendor packages.
- Interface Management: Ensure that all internal and external interfaces are identified and followed up within the area of responsibility.
- Education: Master or Bachelor degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering or similar.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years relevant experience in process engineering.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in IFS and Aspen Hysys/Unisim software.
- Courses and Certification: Basic safety and emergency preparedness training with a valid offshore certificate.
- Soft Skills: Pro-active attitude, collaborative mindset, good communication skills, and ability to work within integrated local and remote teams.
- Language: English - Required, Norwegian (or Scandinavian) - Preferred.
