{"Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our team at NOV. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing detailed mechanical design according to NOV guidelines, creating production drawings, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

* Perform mechanical design and drafting using CAD systems such as Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks, or NX.
* Create production drawings and documentation to support manufacturing and quality control processes.
* Collaborate with electrical, hydraulic, calculation, controls, and technical safety teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical design with other disciplines.
* Participate in the preparation of general project documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
* Engage in technical clarifications with workshops, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
* Stay up-to-date with regulations and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Extensive experience in mechanical design, including machine elements, tolerances, and material selection.
* Proficiency in CAD systems and experience with design for manufacturability and assembly.
* Strong English and Norwegian language skills.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
* Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
