Job Summary:

The HR Consultant will develop the HR function in Norway, working closely with the company to establish a robust framework for employee activities, including HR Strategy, recruitment, development, competence, attraction, and retention. The role will support day-to-day tasks in operations, administration, and strategy at the company level. As part of the executive team, the HR Consultant will report directly to the HR Director in Sweden.

Responsibilities:

Key areas of focus, but not limited to:

  • Create and update HR frameworks, templates, policies, and strategies that align with the company's goals.
  • Evaluate and optimize HR business processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Support line managers in HR-related matters, including employee development, termination, rehabilitation, and more.
  • Drive talent management by attracting, developing, and retaining skilled professionals.
  • Coordinate payroll and pension administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Promote branding and recruitment activities to attract top talent.
  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes for new employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for union work, recruiters, payroll, and candidates.
  • Develop and implement training plans, administer coordination, and conduct salary reviews.
  • Cultivate a safe and healthy work environment, focusing on employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
  • Report HR-related matters to relevant government agencies, unions, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Proven knowledge of union work, collective agreements, and labor laws.
  • Expertise in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian.

Estimated Salary: NOK 800,000 - 1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
