We are excited to announce a career opportunity for a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Sky Mavis.

This role offers a unique chance to work on complex design-build projects and make a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project plans and strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Clayco/Owner contract.
  • Oversee the submittal, change order, and pay request process to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Generate and analyze project costs and Job Cost Report.
  • Forecast and analyze quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.
  • Monitor and record training of all staff personnel to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Track project labor and report any issues or concerns to the project superintendent.
  • Report and track equipment needs to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction services to bid projects and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in the project's quality process to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to schedule and project close-out processes to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience managing construction projects ideally design-build.
  • Demonstrated strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Previous experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
  • Experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to walk job sites, climb ladders, and navigate multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
