Electrical Project Manager with Cable Engineering Expertise

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a focus on cable engineering expertise to join our team at TN Norway. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of cables according to applicable NEK standards and RENblader.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and engineering of cables to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with electrical PRE and electrical system engineer to develop cable sizing philosophy, routing, and design
  • Ensure all electrical aspects are included in E3D modeling
  • Provide layout drawings for electrical equipment placement
  • Coordinate with Civil team on location and arrangement in technical buildings
  • Develop supplier vital interface information list (VIIL) with PRE
  • Maintain interfaces and battery limits with other contractors and stakeholders
  • Contribute to a safe and positive work environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
  • Extensive practical experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Experience with NEK and IEC standards, RENblader, and NORSOK
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Cooperative working attitude and acceptance of multicultural teams
  • High-level English and Norwegian language proficiency, both written and spoken
