About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Aker Solutions. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy aligned with our business goals and digital ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the global IT & OT security function, with a focus on strategic planning, implementation, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business goals and the organization's digital ambitions.
  • Lead the planning, budgeting and execution of security initiatives, prioritizing based on risk and business impact.
  • Build and lead an in-house team of security experts while managing external vendors to elevate security maturity.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders across all levels, providing critical security insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate security risks and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, to foster a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization.
  • Represent Aker Solutions in forums and conferences, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while continuously improving security management practices.
Requirements
  • Strong advisory and discussion skills, with the ability to engage with leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to frame security risks within a business context and align strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex security topics and conveying them to diverse audiences.
  • Experience prioritizing actions in a complex environment with competing security challenges.
  • Proven experience in managing security across both IT and OT environments, under a set of regulatory frameworks (i.e. GDPR, NIS2, ISO27001 and IEC62443).
