Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis and Interpretation
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for processing large-scale geospatial datasets.
  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data to inform business decisions.
System Integration and Automation
  • Design and implement APIs for seamless data integration with front-end systems and third-party platforms.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform to support geospatial processes.
Collaboration and Innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements for geospatial projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in geospatial engineering, remote sensing, and related fields.
Qualifications and ExperienceCore Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in geospatial data engineering or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Python and libraries like Xarray, Geopandas, and rasterio.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial data formats and processing techniques.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and Terraform.
