Job Description

As a Procurement Logistic Responsible, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement logistics process, ensuring that materials are properly administered and managed from delivery to utilization.

  • Material Administration: Develop strategies for identifying project logistics needs, including SAP configuration, procurement templates, warehouse coordination, subcontractor management, reporting routines, freight forwarding needs, customs handling, and transportation costs.
  • Free Issue Materials Coordination: Ensure controlled handling of materials from delivery to their intended purpose.
  • Transportation Management: Establish responsibility matrices for material release and finalize agreements with freight forwarders.
  • Material Availability Monitoring: Track material balances by type and task to maintain workflow according to plan.
  • Project Closure: Conduct material reconciliation at the procurement package and project levels.
  • Surplus Management: Identify and recommend surplus handling strategies, ensuring approval by relevant material owners.
  • SAP Closing: Participate in project closure activities, clearing out logistic purchase orders, stock transfer orders, requisitions, stock balances, and reservations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience and commitment may compensate for formal education.
  • Candidate Profile: Strong commercial awareness, professionalism, and ability to work independently as a team player.
  • Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexible, positive, and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
