Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer - Insulation Specialist to join our team at Nes Advantage Solutions AS. As a Field Engineer - Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the production team with solving technical problems during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the production team with interpretation of drawings and job packages.
  2. Support Fabrication Engineering with technical documentation and solutions.
  3. Continually strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.
  4. Seek continual improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area.
  5. Contribute to interface up against relevant disciplines, Fabrication Engineering, planning department, and production etc.
  6. Establish and follow up technical queries and seek Construction Friendly solutions.
Requirements
  1. Theoretical knowledge and understanding of Piping & Equipment Insulation work and requirements.
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree or technician with relevant skills.
  3. Relevant experience may make up for formal education.
  4. Approximately 3-5 years relevant experience.
  5. Frosio level III certified experience is preferred.
  6. Knowledge of applicable project documents, standards, and specifications.
  7. Fluent English - written and verbal communication.
  8. Good collaboration skills.
  9. Ability to work independently.
  10. Strong work ethics and proactive attitude.
  11. Knowledge of how to use MIPS, CCS, 3D, and 2D-CAD programs.
