Helly Hansen: A Leader in Digital Brand Experience
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Brand Experience Director to join our team in Oslo, Norway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a global digital-first asset and content strategy for our website, email, and performance marketing teams. This will include increasing revenue and ROI by delivering impactful content and assets that engage and motivate existing and future customers.
The ideal candidate will be a digital-first expert with proven ability in developing highly engaging content and activations across digital channels that deliver profitable growth. They will have a passion for driving performance improvements through test-and-learn, with extensive knowledge in how best to tailor and measure asset and content performance across multiple digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Helly Hansen's global website, email, and performance marketing asset and content strategy.
- Define and report on clear performance KPIs, measure the impact of asset performance across acquisition, retention, and brand metrics, and lead the implementation of insights and learnings into improved digital content and performance on KPIs.
- Define the design system and modular templates for site, email, and paid marketing.
- Define and execute the content and asset test and learn performance optimization plan.
- Partner with ecommerce managers, site experience managers to define data-driven digital best practices for product shots, hero banners, landing page experiences, etc.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including Senior Acquisition, retention, brand, and ecommerce managers, to execute performance marketing plans.
- Lead the development of seasonal and always-on performance marketing campaigns; partner closely with brand to ensure activities are fully integrated.
- Build deep relationships with key partners, including Google and Meta, to drive creative excellence on each platform.
- Lead the digital and performance marketing content and creative team and our digital creative agency partner.
- Oversee the creative budget, ensuring value delivery from our partners.
Organizational Structure:
The Digital Brand Experience Director will report to the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of digital experience, 3+ years in a leading content and asset strategy for site and performance marketing.
- Experience in leading design and copy teams covering a wide variety of background skill sets; experience in leading UX designers is a bonus.
- Experience in driving acquisition, retention, and brand metrics.
- Excellent understanding of test and learn methodology.
- Proven ability in driving creative and content across digital platforms (website, Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and formats (video/static/animation).
- Able to translate creative thinking into a clearly defined creative strategy.
- Highly organized, managing multiple campaigns/projects at once.
- Experience leading and getting the most out of agency partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in sports marketing or an interest in skiing or sailing sports is a plus.
