Job Description
The Quality Lead will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards, developing quality control systems, conducting audits, testing products, documenting results, collaborating with teams, training members, investigating complaints, analyzing data, and reporting on quality metrics.
This includes:
- Performing quality checks of supplier/internal manufacturing records to authorize shipment of parts according to engineering & project requirements.
- Overseeing all quality assurance processes and ensuring that standards are met.
- Resolving complex technical queries related to materials, NDE, welding, coating, and lifting.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 8 years of experience in quality functions. They should have thorough technical understanding of industry standards, engineering practices, manufacturing techniques, material engineering, destructive and non-destructive testing, measuring instruments, and engineering drawing.
