Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Stavanger. As an Automation and Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a key role in protecting our Operational Technology (OT) systems from cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implementation: Define the design of network infrastructure and ensure compliance with customer specifications to protect OT systems from cyber threats, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, access controls, and network segmentation.
  2. FAT Testing and Verification: Participate in FAT testing and verification of configuration of switches, routers, firewalls etc.
  3. Supplier Support: Support suppliers and vendors in completing Self-Assessment Templates.
  4. Risk Assessment: Risk assessment of supplier packages and systems with basis in IEC62443 Cyber Security Standard.
  5. Interface Management: Handle interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other Contractors, and Client.
  6. RVA Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate/lead RVA (Risk Vulnerability Analysis) workshop for operational technology systems to identify security weaknesses and potential threats.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree or similar.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in Operational Technology (OT) security, with a primary focus on engineering in design, configuration, testing and support of large network infrastructures including configuration of Switches, Firewalls, Servers, and virtual environments.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, and other OT technologies.
  4. Communication Protocols: Experience with design and testing of communication networks/protocols like Modbus, Profibus, IEC61850, TCP IP, Ethernet, OPC UA etc.
  5. Purdue Model Implementation: Experience with the implementation of Purdue Model to enhance security within the OT environment.
  6. NIST Cyber Security Framework: Experience with the implementation of NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF).
  7. IEC62443 Compliance: Experience with IEC62443 and technical requirements TR 1658 and Self-Assessment Templates.
  8. EX Courses: EX - Basic EX courses. 6-8 hours online, or 22.5 in a classroom.
  9. FSE Certification: FSE - High and low voltage with first aid.
