About the Position
  • You will utilize 3D CAD and other tools to create detailed designs for existing and future drone models.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our hardware lab and HIL test suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and modification of mechanical components: Utilize 3D CAD to create designs for existing and future drone models, ensuring manufacturability and performance.
  • Prototyping and part production: Leverage 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques for rapid prototyping and part production.
  • Supplier management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality parts.
  • Hardware lab development: Oversee the development and maintenance of our hardware lab and HIL test suite to support the software team's testing and validation efforts.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD design: Experience designing complex mechanical parts using 3D CAD software.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D printing and additive manufacturing: Familiarity with 3D printing and additive manufacturing techniques for prototyping and part production.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to manage suppliers effectively.
