About This Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join our team in Oslo.
As an HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and developing HSE plans and internal standards to identify and reduce work environment and environmental risks.
You will ensure compliance with external and internal HSE requirements and support communication with authorities within the HSE area.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and develop HSE plans and internal standards to identify and reduce work environment and environmental risks.
- Ensure compliance with external and internal HSE requirements.
- Support and guide managers and employees in HSE related matters.
- Support communication with authorities within the HSE area.
- Develop and implement trainings to strengthen HSE awareness in the workplace.
- Track and analyze HSE KPIs and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
- Government contacts and work with permits, inspections, and reporting.
What You Will Bring:
To succeed in this role, you will need to bring experience and knowledge in:
- Degree in work environment, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Strong communication skills, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Food, pharmaceutical, or other industry and safety culture background.
- Experience in working with safety culture and cultural changes.
- Technical knowledge in machine safety, combustible dust, ammonia systems, and environmental technology.
