About the Role

As an Outdoor Product Trainer at WorkShop, you will play a crucial part in optimizing how our brand is presented in retail. You will work closely with the marketing team and field team to identify opportunities for improvement and influence retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, creating, and delivering engaging product training through physical and digital methods, adhering to established learning methodologies, facilitation techniques, and engagement strategies
  • Navigating and updating wholesalers' digital e-learning platforms with interactive content, creating training videos, quizzes, and adding product information and unique selling points
  • Driving interaction and participation among training participants within your wholesale customer base
  • Fostering a network of proactive brand advocates across various channels, including stores, wholesalers, and online communities
  • Onboarding, connecting, educating, and engaging wholesaler customers using our digital engagement platform
  • Planning and executing efficient tours to visit all designated stores within the year according to the set plan
  • Gathering insights into customer behavior and identifying potential opportunities for growth
  • Developing strategic concepts to boost conversion rates
  • Providing accurate and detailed reporting through our in-house app following each completed training session
  • Submitting weekly performance reports on wholesale activities
  • Sharing best practices with the peer group and HQ to facilitate knowledge sharing and adaptation

Requirements

To excel in this position, we seek a highly motivated individual who is passionate about sports and embodies the qualities of a true brand ambassador. As an outgoing person with a proven sales record, you should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively with your teammates to achieve shared goals.

Additional requirements include:

  • A strong background in sales within the sports industry, preferably with experience in the outdoor category
  • A solid understanding of the outdoor market and its trends
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats, with fluency in English and Norwegian
  • Relevant marketing education or studies would be beneficial
  • Experience with authoring tools and SCORM would be advantageous
