Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner II 1 to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our Research, Engineering, Manufacture and Supply Chain (REMS) Organization, you will be responsible for providing Material Planning analysis and support to ensure the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve new material master extensions or changes in the ERP system for externally procured or subcontracted materials.
  • Validate the use of project versus common stock following financial standards and procurement strategy.
  • Work in commodity planning with procurement and engineering to define strategy per commodity, ensuring material availability on time and managing inventory levels to optimize costs and lead times.
  • Analyze MRP and initiate actions to exception messages.
  • Release purchase requisitions to buyers when required, enabling them to execute procurement of the material.
  • Provide progress reports for externally procured materials, keeping stakeholders informed about any risks associated with the plan.
  • Implement and execute Consumption Based Planning.
  • Ensure proper management of inventory levels based on planned activity levels and product mix.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Level preferred in Business Administration, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Technical Discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 to 6 years of relative experience.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing and processes.
  • Appreciation and understanding of the Engineering Execution Process (EEP).
  • Practical understanding of Engineering BOMs.

Additional Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in using SAP MM module.
  • Primavera P6 General analysis and reporting.
  • Expert level professional working on complex issues and projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
