We are seeking a Senior Insulation Engineer to join our team at Aker Solutions.
This role involves designing, maintaining, and inspecting insulation systems for equipment and structures such as pipes, tanks, and vessels. The primary focus will be on ensuring efficient temperature control, energy conservation, and safety.
- Key responsibilities include selecting the right insulation materials, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with ISO suppliers, coordinate and plan work, and contribute to projects from the study phase to completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation for subcontractors, plan and follow up in customer systems (SAP), and conduct risk assessments in projects.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience in insulation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably in Topside systems.
- FROSIO Certificate and proven component-level knowledge of technologies in ISO- and sealing materials.
- Experience in product development and qualification, knowledge of relevant standards within Topside systems, and proficiency in SAP ERP system.
- Effective communication skills in English, written and spoken, drive to take initiative, and excellent teamwork and cooperation skills.
