About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Stavanger. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing SCM support to projects, operational bases, and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue RFQs based on project requirements, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Negotiate and place commitments with suppliers, securing the most favorable terms of contract.
  • Expedite purchase orders, ensuring delivery dates are met and supply issues are resolved.
  • Manage inventory and ensure goods or services are delivered to the right place at the right time.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in meetings as required by projects and departments, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and internal customers, driving collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Sourcing and procurement of alternative products, ensuring competitive pricing without compromising quality.
  • Liaise with other departments, promoting a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with procurement function's forms of contract and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
