About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Surveyor Trainee.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing surveys on vessels and platforms, planning and scheduling the various phases of surveying, and preparing technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the maritime industry, with a focus on classification and compliance with statutory requirements.
About the Role
The Surveyor Trainee will be part of our team of experienced surveyors, working on a wide range of projects and tasks, including:
- Performing surveys on vessels and platforms, at manufacturers and at shipyards for classification and compliance with statutory requirements
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the various phases of surveying
- Preparing technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys
- Engaging with clients to resolve problems within areas of expertise
- Traveling to various locations, including offshore and international destinations

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as marine technology, mechanical engineering, or materials technology
- Experience in the maritime industry, preferably in a role related to classification and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong academic record and relevant skills and knowledge
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
