Job Description

Rainforest Foundation Norway is seeking a highly skilled Senior International Controller to join our finance team in Oslo.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial controlling, a strong understanding of international financial management, and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for leading the team effort to ensure compliance with donors' financial and administrative obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure designated departments are compliant with donors' financial and administrative obligations.
  • Participate in partner assessments, supervision, research, and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems.
  • Lead the RFN procurement function.
  • Foster collaboration and communication within the team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education in finance, accountancy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
