Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our IT Development team in Oslo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, operating, and maintaining our on-premises Kubernetes platform, including underlying Linux infrastructure on VMWare.

You will contribute to the development team by adapting deployment routines, monitoring, and methodologies for optimal usage of the platform, focusing on stability, availability, and automation.

Additionally, you will strengthen the IT/Operations team with your Linux experience.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with administering Linux (Debian) and Kubernetes, preferably with integration in Windows/Active Directory environments.
  • Experience with VMWare.
  • Ideally, familiarity/experience from areas like Azure DevOps and programming (C#, Angular, Python).
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both verbal and written.
  • Financial or similar industry experience is positive.
  • Preferably bachelor's degree, minimum high school level with relevant work experience.
  • Strong interest in technology and current IT trends.
  • Solution-oriented with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Effective communication skills, equally able to communicate cross-functionally as well as within the team.
