Our SeaSkill Business

Our SeaSkill business is driven by a global network of auditors and a Governance Unit that maintains certification standards and ensures consistent delivery of high-quality services.

As a Certified Simulator Professional in our Governance Unit, your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing SeaSkill certification services to customers with a strong focus on Simulators
  • Advising internally (Auditors, Assessors, BD & Sales) on SeaSkill- and Simulator-related matters
  • Driving the development of our Simulator certification standard, observing industry & research trends
  • Liaising with Simulator manufacturers, maritime administrations, industry organizations, and IMO on development and use of Simulators
  • Supporting marketing & sales activities for SeaSkill services, with a strong focus on Simulators

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A degree in engineering and/or instructional design
  • Work experience as an Auditor, ideally of Maritime Management Systems (ISM, ISPS)
  • Passion for design & application of certification standards
  • Ability to acquire relevant knowledge in Simulator technology and Simulator operations quickly

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
