Project Completion Engineer - Telecom

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Completion Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient completion of telecom projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain safe working routines to ensure compliance with Company safety regulations.
  2. Participate in the establishment of a commissioning team with the necessary competence and capacity to perform commissioning on telecom systems.
  3. Produce commissioning procedures for dedicated systems and issue and maintain commissioning boundary documentation.
  4. Manage commissioning activities during all phases to ensure a safe and efficient commissioning execution.
  5. Secure sufficient training and development of personnel within the commissioning organisation.
  6. Participate in MC verification of equipment and packages to obtain Ready for Commissioning status.
  7. Follow up punch work in the field and punch list documentation and clearance.
  8. Ensure that drawings/documents are marked up with changes identified during commissioning and that as-built documentation is updated accordingly.
  9. Experience transfer from/to other relevant projects and towards the base organisation.
  10. Identify and follow up risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
  11. Evaluate and verify all procedures and work instructions used during commissioning.
  12. Assessment of provisions for commissioning in design.
  13. Ensure and maintain a close and good relationship to contractor and operation.
  14. Manage, execute and supervise the performance of commissioning activities.
  15. Responsible for handover of the facility to Operation by issuing TAC and RFOC.
  16. Participating in development of strategies, budget, plans/schedules, procedures, routines, ATS requirements, FAT, UFAT, RISK and work processes for commissioning.
  17. Execute commissioning according to Company governing documents.
  18. Establish 'first fill' requirements.
  19. Identify and propose needed temporaries for commissioning execution.
  20. Recommend Commissioning SPIR.
  21. Participate in relevant engineering and construction meetings to obtain and ensure commissioning task execution.

Requirements:

  1. University degree or equivalent.
  2. Result and safety oriented.
  3. Experience from oil and gas projects.
  4. Extensive knowledge of Company governing documentation.
  5. Well-developed teambuilding, co-operational, and communication abilities.
  6. Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high work load.
  7. Ability to drive activities to be complete on schedule.
  8. Establish good relations with Contractors.
