Job Description

Sigma Energy & Marine is a leading provider of complex projects to the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a Telecom PRE with experience in offshore Telecom system engineering to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment quality and completeness of telecom packages.
  • Review and approve supplier documentation.
  • Manage changes to scope and specification from/to suppliers.
  • Guarantee equipment requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Contribute to project schedule and cost planning.

Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor degree.
  • High skills in telecommunication systems such as PAGA, PBX, data, GMDSS, fibre optical, power supply, personnel registration, UHF Tetra, personnel registration.
  • Experience with telecom package preparation, handling and follow-up.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with offshore Telecom system engineering.

Preferred Skills

  • Fluent written and oral communication in English, and preferably Norwegian.
  • Software skills: Microsoft office tools.
  • Good communication- and cooperation skills.
