About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Oslo. As a key driver of growth, you will be responsible for driving sales of our cutting-edge software solutions tailored to the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute account strategies in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director.
- Build a sales pipeline of upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle in a consultative manner and meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Understand the market opportunity and develop a plan for the area.
- Understand the customer's specific needs through consultative discovery sessions to provide a tailored solution.
- Build, negotiate, and agree on contracts on behalf of LR OneOcean.
- Keep the customer engaged through account meetings to maintain a deep relationship and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) (Salesforce) to log sales activity, keep allocated accounts up to date with customer contact details, and ensure pipeline discipline working quickly on all customer communication, including leads.
- Stay fully aware of product releases and stay in tune with the industry news and trends in order to educate customers on the solution to their problems.
