This team has a significant impact on company KPIs, such as accuracy, delivery success, and cost.

Our team consists of experienced professionals, including an Engineering Manager, four developers, one Product Manager, and one Principal Engineer. We're seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer to collaborate with us and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage backend services, focusing on codebase ownership, high standards of quality, maintainability, and scalability.

  • Create software data structures that translate complex logistics scenarios into efficient solutions.

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and make informed decisions about technical and architectural aspects, aligning with business objectives and user needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders to gather insights on user needs, informing improvements to our product.

  • Pursue innovative solutions to real-world problems, working closely with colleagues to drive results.

  • Lead the development lifecycle of the backend application, from conceptualization to deployment, upholding high standards throughout.

  • Enhance the performance, usability, and responsiveness of our product to deliver exceptional user experiences.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Technology Stack

Our tech stack includes React, Typescript, NextJS, React query, Redux, Pusher, Kotlin/Java, Go, PostgreSQL, and Google Pub/Sub with Protobuf. Each tool is carefully chosen based on its ability to meet our specific needs.

Beyond that, we envision candidates with the following qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in modern tech environments, with a strong background in backend technologies.

  • Familiarity with Go, Kotlin, or Java programming languages.

  • Proficiency in relational database management systems.

  • Experience with major cloud platforms and associated tools, container orchestration, infrastructure provisioning, and version control.

  • Nice to have experience with event-driven architectures.

  • Nice to have experience with front-end development using React or WebSockets (or SaSS products for consuming events like Pusher).

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
