We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Instrument Engineer to join our team at Head Energy. As a key member of our automation discipline, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support and act as a discipline expert for Instrument engineering activities.
  • Prepare for taking over the system and equipment from the project, establish good handover plans, and carry out verification of quality against specifications.
  • Responsible for field instrumentation and field equipment for safety systems.
  • Technical discipline responsible for barrier functions for instrumented systems.
  • Operational procedures owner.
  • Secure necessary tools and frameworks are established for operations phase.
  • Secure compliance and continuous improvement of operational procedures.
  • Ensure that the established work practices and procedures for offshore work are delivered with the expected quality.

Requirements:

  • Education - Bachelor within relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience within technical field/discipline.
  • Experience from the project is preferred.
  • The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
  • Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
