About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Offshore Equipment Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX, US. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for leading regional efforts, innovating and strategizing, and supporting tender and project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Solutions: Collaborate with diverse teams across regions to design and develop innovative solutions for our projects.
  2. Source and Acquire Equipment: Identify and source cutting-edge equipment to ensure our projects are equipped with the best tools for success.
  3. Support Tender and Project Activities: Play a crucial role in tender processes, ensuring our project proposals are competitive and compelling.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Greater than 5 years of experience in offshore/subsea industry with particular emphasis in ROV operations and ROV tooling.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC, VISAs and medical certs such as BOSIET, UKOA and/or OGUK.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong understanding of Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowline (SURF) infrastructure with general awareness of SPS (Subsea Production Systems).
  • Understanding of ROV capabilities, operations and experience in collaborating with vessel teams.
  • Must have good planning, organizational and time management skills.
  • Takes responsibility for delivery.
  • Familiar with installation software tools like Autocad.
  • Proactively engages with Quality and HSES initiatives.
  • Shows respect for subordinates and coworkers.
  • Collaborates transparently to address what truly matters and always delivers on promises.
  • Proven ability to build trust with project and field support team members.

Work Environment:

  1. Workshop based position with occasional trips offsite/offshore.
  2. 95% workshop environment and 5% field (onshore / offshore) environment.
  3. Up to 25% Travel required to support business trips and/or project execution (mobilization, demobilization and offshore operations) domestically.
