About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Specialist – Cementing to join our dynamic global Cementing operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading people and working on complex projects, overseeing the training and development of your team to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prepare your cementing service team to ensure operational readiness, execution of work, and post-job evaluation.
Provide guidance to customers and teams on-site to coordinate cementing operations and aid decision-making processes.
Supervise crew, ensuring operational readiness and maintenance of cementing unit and casing accessories equipment.
Mentor the training and development of your team to ensure quality cementing services are delivered to customers.
Provide records of products consumed to customer representatives at wellsites, ensuring successful inventory tracking and invoice submission.
Ensure health and safety compliance throughout cementing activities to mitigate risks to people, equipment, and the environment.
Requirements
You should have a good background in engineering with experience in executing cementing jobs, pumping, and pressure testing with knowledge of two brands of cement units (Baker's and/or competitors').
You should have experience in Foam Cementing.
You should demonstrate leadership experience in managing and mentoring a team in a cross-functional business organization.
You should be fluent in English and possess excellent all-round communication skills.
You should be happy and flexible to travel to international locations to work with customers on-site and offshore.
You should have an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
