HSEQ Lead & Operational Safety Leader

This critical role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in HSEQ and risk management to lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and promoting a culture of safety.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with company goals, driving continuous improvement in HSE performance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, promoting a proactive approach to HSE.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with contractors, Authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Provide expert guidance on HSEQ matters, supporting project teams in developing and implementing HSE plans and procedures.
Requirements
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant business experience in HSEQ and risk management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in D&W operations, Norwegian Authority regulations, and HSEQ principles.
  • Proven track record of delivering HSE excellence in complex projects, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
