Siemens Energy is in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Lead Product Strategist with extensive technical expertise in gas turbine core design and development. This crucial role will be situated in our Kongsberg, Norway office and will concentrate on our 2MW SGT-50 gas turbine Package.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership: Assume comprehensive responsibility from concept initiation to execution of the SGT-50 Product Roadmap, ensuring alignment with both immediate and long-term business objectives. Supervise the evolution of the SGT-50, establishing it as the premier power generation solution within targeted market segments. Develop thorough business cases to prioritize product features and direct development initiatives.

Technical Leadership: Leverage profound knowledge of gas turbine core design and development to steer the product team. Remain informed about the latest advancements in gas turbine technology across relevant market sectors.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and clients, to garner support and ensure alignment with business strategies. Conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and government representatives to comprehend requirements, negotiate terms, and ensure adherence to regulations. Represent Siemens Energy at technical seminars, conferences, and governmental forums, showcasing product advancements and innovations.

Team Development: Cultivate a collaborative team atmosphere, promoting cross-functional cooperation and teamwork. Effectively prioritize tasks to balance immediate and long-term business goals. Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and development.

Qualifications

Education: Advanced Degree (Master's or PhD) in gas turbine engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant fields is highly preferred to meet the requirements for deeper technical expertise. Experience: Extensive background in gas turbine core design and development, with a proven history of successful projects. Commercial experience in the energy sector, particularly in product management or a related role.
