Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Stavanger. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, preparing management reports, and analyzing budget forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Prepare and review financial reports, including management accounts and budget forecasts.
  3. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and reconcile work-in-progress accounts.
  4. Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior team members.
  6. Liaise with internal and external departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

  1. Degree in a recognized accounting qualification.
  2. 7+ years of experience in a finance environment.
  3. Proficient in using SAP or a similar finance package.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  5. Achieved chartered status.
